Occasionally as a writer I have been asked to join up with teams of writers to promote a Non-Profit Group, Politics or someone else’s important personal project or business. What is so funny about that is when I am approached it is always the same basic line of sales pitch and it is getting old. First they tell you of this great project, which of course is not hardly launched yet and it has no synergy that can be seen to speak of.

Generally it has been my observation that these folks will use all sorts of psychobabble BS to blow smoke up your anus, it is truly a pathetic spectacle indeed. If you are a writer then you have to be careful when these recruiters promise you exposure online or some other such thing. For instance they might say something like;

“In fact, all our authors are considered part of the "team". And they will get exposure in several ways, like: Featured Author spot on the front page, Expert Author page with your professional profile, bio and links, Bio box (with links) in every article published, Whatever else we can think of in the future”

Writers you must beware of these phony pitch online net workers, who only want to use you for their own means. Do not fall for their crap and especially sales pitch lines like this; “I guess you could say, we’re creating a community of marketing experts
who want to share their expertise. All of our authors are hand-picked and invited to join. I’m really not interested in opening it up to anyone and everyone.”

Boy when you start hearing something like this, I recommend that you carefully take a look at the person promoting such things, as it appears they are only interested in recruiting you, manipulating you and then using you. People like that suck and people who fall for it are stupid. Personally I hope you the reader are neither.
